Fowler is responsible for developing and implementing a category communication strategy aligned with business goals and growth priorities. "I will lead strategic planning, positioning and message development for commercial initiatives, while overseeing media relations, executive visibility and thought leadership to advance PMI U.S.'s market presence," Fowler said. Fowler most recently worked at pharmaceutical company AbbVie. She joined the company in late 2020 as director of U.S. public affairs. In 2023, she was promoted to director of business unit communication, public affairs and pipeline commercialization strategy for immunology. In that role, Fowler oversaw the external visibility of the $21 billion U.S. immunology portfolio, including brands such as Skyrizi, Rinvoq and Humira.
