Interviewing for role selling C-Arm in IR/OR. Looking for feedback on the role and company. There’s quite a few locations that have this role open so wanting to see if there’s a recent reason for that as well

  • “I cant speak to Phillips but there has been a shakeup in the company I am interviewing with and may be the same with other major players. Have you spoken to any current reps? If it is a recruited position has the recruiter explained why the role your interviewing is currently open? Normally you can get a decent answer from one or the other.”

  • “The only thing you need to know about Phillips is while I was working as a contractor in their Ohio factory, some genius middle manager made the choice to remove coffee from break rooms. Deciding "hey you can still bring in your own coffee" Don't go there. They told me all the blue screen of deaths complaints they were getting on their PACS system was simply a Windows error. It turns out they we”

  • “My first role was with a smaller imaging company staffed entirely of former Philips employees and a sprinkle of Siemens. They have good name recognition in Imaging and you’ll likely inherit a decent existing customer base. Demoing C-arms was the only imaging product I enjoyed. I’d go for it.”
