PhonePe has elevated its long-time engineering leader Srijon Biswas as the company's Chief Technology Officer (CTO), as the fintech firm strengthens its technology leadership while expanding its business beyond digital payments. Biswas, who has been with PhonePe for nearly a decade and most recently served as Head of Engineering, will now lead the company's engineering organisation with immediate effect. He will continue to report to PhonePe co-founder Rahul Chari.
