Another one-million square foot logistics facility is coming to the village of Minooka. Minooka Village Administrator Dan Duffy said four items were approved by Trustees for the project at a meeting in late August. "Approval for a large one million square foot, spec building, logistic logistics spec building going right next to, just on the south side of, the large Grainger facility we have in Minooka, and that is Prologis. We had an open hearing. We always have an open house to take questions before large projects like this go, specifically because we had a large, a good size amendment to the annexation agreement. more technical, amendments, nothing, out of the ordinary. For more truck screening, we wanted to see more decorative fencing rather than, cinder walls. Again, just trying to bring what I would say is an old annexation, up to speed with today's standards for building. We want to make sure that the building being it'll be facing Minooka Road is it'll be just next to, the, fire station on Minooka Road. Just has the proper amenities in place that properly screens and all truck trailer parking. Access points will be actually off of McClendann Road.
