Vistra will acquire these assets at a net purchase price of approximately $4 billion. Vistra continues its strategy of acquiring power generation fleets. Late last year, Vistra announced it had completed the acquisition of seven modern natural gas generation facilities totaling approximately 2,600 MW of capacity from Lotus Infrastructure Partners. Factor This Power Engineering previously reported that Vistra was acquiring these assets for $1.9 billion or approximately $743/kW, subject to certain net working capital adjustments. Vistra notably completed the $3.4 billion acquisition of Energy Harbor in 2024.
