July 27, 2026 Reuters LONDON, July 27 (Reuters) – Vodafone on Monday raised its outlook to reflect its agreement with Safaricom and the mobile operator said it expects to reach the top end of its new forecast range after a solid first quarter. CEO Margherita Della Valle said the British group had "started this financial year well," with widespread growth across its businesses, leading to a 5.2% increase in organic service revenue, driven by Turkey and Africa. Adjusted operating profit rose 6.2% during the quarter thanks to cost savings and revenue growth. Vodafone said it now expects adjusted operating profit of 13.0 to 13.3 billion euros and adjusted free cash flow of 2.6 to 2.9 billion euros for the financial year ending March 2027. Analysts expected the operator to raise its forecasts after taking control of Kenya-based Safaricom last month. On the London Stock Exchange, the share price rose 3.8% around 07:06 GMT.
