Questions about this feed
How far back does this funding feed go?
The last 30 days, with data through Sep 29, 2026. Each build adds the newest days and drops the oldest. For a fixed month, use the monthly funding rounds list.
What counts as a funding event here?
A news story that reports a funding round, a valuation or an IPO step, or an SEC Form D filing for a new offering. Form D filings by pooled investment funds are removed, and SPVs are filtered by name and industry, so almost all rows are operating companies.
Why is there no amount on some rows?
The row shows an amount only when the story or the filing states one in US dollars. Some stories announce a round without a number.
Is a Form D filing the same as a closed round?
No. A Form D is a notice of an exempt securities offering filed with the SEC. It often follows a round, but the filing date is not the close date and the amount can be a target.
Can I get these funding signals by API?
Yes. Call POST /v1/companies/search with signal_types ["news", "sec-form-d-funding"], signal_subtypes ["receives_financing","has_valuation","goes_public","newFilingCompany","amendmentCompany"] and detected_after set to the start of your window. The subtypes match across both types, so the fund filings stay out. A free account includes 1,000 credits.
