Co-Founder & CEO at Autobound

Daniel Wiener

Daniel Wiener is the co-founder and CEO of Autobound, the signal intelligence company behind the Signal API. USC alum, top-1% Oracle seller, and former Intralinks enterprise rep.

About Daniel

Daniel Wiener is the co-founder and CEO of Autobound, the signal intelligence company behind the Signal API, which tracks 700+ signals across 35+ signal types on 50M+ companies, with platforms like ZoomInfo, 6sense, and TechTarget embedding its signals into their products.

Daniel graduated from USC in 2016, where he studied human biology with minors in business and the music industry and served on the executive board of the Interfraternity Council, governing a 3,500-member Greek community. USC Marshall later profiled him in its alumni feature “Always Be Closing.”

His first job out of USC was at Oracle, where he repeatedly ranked in the top 1% of sellers in the US and earned two SMB West MVP awards. From there he moved to Intralinks, selling virtual data room software to enterprises across a California territory of 7,000+ companies. Living the daily grind of manual prospect research at both companies convinced him the problem was worth solving.

He founded Autobound in 2019 with childhood friend Kyle Schuster, earning the Select Portfolio designation at the Founder Institute (top 2% of its ~4,000 startups), winning Most VC-Backable at VCIC's 2020 Silicon Valley regional, and raising an oversubscribed pre-seed that included the USC Marshall Venture Fund. In 2023 he raised a $4M seed led by Dundee VC, with backing from AIX Ventures, You.com founder Richard Socher, and ZoomInfo founder Henry Schuck.

His perspective on AI and go-to-market has appeared in Fox Business and on podcasts including From Founder to CEO and the Midstage Startup Momentum Podcast. Raised in Denver, he grew up playing competitive tennis, has played guitar for more than a decade, and trains for ultramarathons.
