May 2026: What We Shipped

Big month. Two entirely new products, major signal expansion, infrastructure that materially improves reliability, and the foundation for self-service API access opening later this quarter.

Here's everything, with links to the deep-dives where relevant.

New Products

Buyer Intent API

Topic-level research signals across the B2B web. This is the answer to "who's actively in-market for my product right now?"

  • ~38,000 B2B topics in the taxonomy
  • Contact-level results (named people, not just companies)
  • Filter by seniority, department, company size, revenue, country
  • Credit-billed: 1 credit per contact returned
  • Three endpoints: /topics (browse), /contacts (query), /filters (discovery)

Not IP-based. Not content syndication. Named contacts researching specific topics. The is_product flag distinguishes high-intent product research from general category browsing.

MCP Server 1.0.0

Autobound's signal data now works natively in Claude Code, Cursor, Claude Desktop, and every MCP-compatible AI agent. This is the core thesis: Autobound is the B2B data API for AI agents.

  • npm install @autobound-ai/mcp-server
  • 11 tools: search, enrich, signal browsing, intent queries, account management
  • 60 seconds from install to live signal data in your AI tool
  • Multi-tenant safe for platform builders embedding our data into their products
  • Every tool in your AI stack gets access simultaneously — no per-tool integration

Signal Expansion

Podcast Transcript Intelligence

Full podcast ingestion pipeline: feed discovery → audio transcription → LLM extraction. We identify which executives appear on which shows and extract structured intelligence from what they actually said.

  • Guest name, title, company, LinkedIn URL
  • Episode topics (specific, not generic tags)
  • Key insights (actual positions and plans stated on the show)
  • Outreach hooks (personalized conversation starters from episode content)
  • ~53 records/day, 70% B2B podcast coverage
  • Nobody else offers this at scale

Conference Speaker Intelligence

Daily tracking of executive speaking commitments at tech conferences. When someone commits to present on a topic, they're publicly declaring their priorities 3-6 months early.

  • 18 technology categories tracked
  • 80+ cities globally
  • ~140 records/day
  • Speaker name, title, company, talk title, conference, dates, topics
  • Both confirmed speakers and open CFP deadlines

10 New News Subtypes (40 total)

Our news intelligence now covers 40 distinct event types. The 10 new additions:

SubtypeWhat it detects
spins_off_companyCorporate spin-offs and divestitures
rebrands_toCompany rebrands and name changes
splits_intoCompany splits
declares_bankruptcyBankruptcy filings
loses_clientCustomer churn (company loses a named client)
ends_partnership_withPartnership dissolutions
has_valuationValuation announcements
has_earningsEarnings reports
has_revenueRevenue disclosures
spins_off_divisionDivision spin-offs

All 40 subtypes now deliver daily (shifted from weekly). Company events surface within 24 hours of publication.

SEO Traffic v2

Complete rebuild of website traffic analysis. Improved deduplication, higher data quality, and new subtypes:

  • sustainedGrowth — steady upward traffic trends
  • sustainedDecline — consistent drops
  • trafficSurge — sudden spikes (product launches, viral content)
  • trafficDecline — sudden drops (outages, penalties)
  • baseline — reference data for trend comparison

~4.7M rows per delivery. Full B2B web coverage.

Hiring Seniority Overhaul (Breaking Change)

We refined seniority categories on hiring signals:

Removed: non_manager, owner

Added: junior, mid_senior

New fields: sample_normalized_titles, sample_translated_titles

If your integration filters on seniority categories, update your enum handling. This improves targeting accuracy for teams using hiring signals to identify team-building patterns.

Platform & Infrastructure

Workspace Credits — Credits now scoped to workspaces instead of individual accounts. Teams share a pool, invite members, manage usage together. Starting credits increased from 500 to 1,000.

Refresh Cadence Field/v1/signals/types now includes refresh_cadence for each signal type. Your automation can programmatically know whether a signal updates daily, weekly, or monthly. Build polling logic around real schedules.

API Surface Redesign — Replaced /v1/signals/search with separate /v1/companies/search and /v1/contacts/search endpoints. Cleaner interface, aligned with how MCP tools and AI agents query data.

Improved Delivery Coverage — Pipeline now tracks entities individually through processing. LLM retries, third-party data delays, and processing hiccups no longer cause silent signal loss. Stragglers ship in the next batch automatically. Zero records dropped.

News: Daily Delivery — Our most popular signal category shifted from weekly to daily cadence. Company events are actionable within 24 hours.

Postgres Migration — Entire data plane migrated off Zilliz (vector DB) to Postgres. Massive reliability and query performance improvement. Search latency dropped 60%+.

S3 Full-Mirror Architecture — Complete signal archive now mirrors to S3 alongside GCS. 29-day delivery gap from Q1 backfilled in full. Redundant delivery infrastructure ensures this never happens again.

SecurityScorecard: 67 → 100 — Perfect security score. Unblocks enterprise procurement for customers who require vendor security posture assessment.

Coming Soon

News: Second Company Enrichment (June 2026) — M&A, partnership, investment, and litigation signals will include structured data on both companies involved. A new related_company object surfaces the second entity from ~5,000 records per delivery that currently only have this buried in article text.

Job Posting Content Analysis (Q2) — Extracting structured signals from job descriptions: tech stack decisions, pain points mentioned, budget indicators, and team buildout patterns. Signals embedded in job postings that you can't get from title/seniority alone.

Company Connections Graph (Q2) — Competitor, customer, vendor, partner, and investor relationships as a queryable flat file. Account-based selling gets much richer when you know who your prospect's customers and competitors are.

Self-Service API Access (later Q2) — Opening the signal API for self-service signup. Developers will be able to get an API key and start pulling signals in minutes without a sales conversation. Currently in closed beta.

Expanded Review Sources (Q2) — Product review coverage expanding beyond current sources to include Capterra, TrustRadius, Gartner Peer Insights, and PeerSpot.

Historical Backfill to 12 Months (Q2) — Extending signal history from current retention windows to a full 12-month lookback across all signal types.
