I've been using 1Password for many years - and I have a love/hate relationship with it, sadly more hate than love. It works about 60% of the time, while other times I need to manually open the app and copy the password, or otherwise screw around with it to try to get it working again. When I get some free time, I'd likely be better off using the native Mac/IOS capabilities because they've greatly caught up, and 1Password isn't reliable. One common frustration is I use it on two Macs - and frequently 1Password behaves differently on them. Yes, my OS and 1Password versions are exactly the same. It's very tedious to occasionally have to go through all the settings - both within the app and browser - and find the differences, and there are almost always settings I've never touched but that somehow drifted on the Macs. After a recent update, the user experience differs between them again, and I've found some settings that were then different, but they're still operating differently and I've lost patience on figuring out what settings is different. 1Password should either sync configs with iCloud, or offer a simple way to export & import configs to solve this problem! This isn't rocket science! Especially with Codex or Claude Code, a developer could quickly add that feature.
