Good day, I just recently joined a company using Zoho workstation, one week in i noticed the users are struggling to share their files, take backup of their data and use Microsoft applications like Excel and word. As I don't have much experience and knowledge of these workstation, Zoho and Google. I am very confused as to how to utilize Zoho and still rely on Microsoft applications, recently users have ran out of zoho email storage and they went and bought a subscription for Microsoft plan for specific emails just to access archive feature and have more mail storage. My question how does zoho and Microsoft work together, does buying a Microsoft subscription and linking zoho mailbox to Microsoft is a proper way of trying to solve the storage issue? Is Zoho actually the right tool for a medium company with 300+ users?. Can I keep zoho and still be able to take advantage of Microsoft features?. Thank you in advance.

  • “paying for two different ecosystems just to solve a storage problem is a great way to double your billing headaches lol. just migrate the whole lot to 365 and call it a day. trying to frankenstein zoho and microsoft together for 300 people is just asking for a nightmare of sync errors”

  • “What exactly did those users buy, and where did their old mail end up? Adding a Zoho account to Outlook over IMAP doesn't increase the Zoho mailbox quota. A local archive file, a Zoho archive folder and an Exchange Online archive are different things. Pick one affected user and trace that before changing anything for all 300 people. Check where new mail is delivered, where archived messages are”
