For added context I run a firm here with a few family offices and we’re starting to get into more high frequency trading and also option selling. Our current prime broker is Charles Schwab and we really like them because their Customer Support is amazing and I like their software integration. But honestly, we’re looking at our bottom line and we want more. We want lower rates we want lower commissions. We want better fills. And even if we can get paid for order flow, that would be amazing. I have a few different Quant from amazing firms like millennium in Black rock and one uses interactive brokers and the other one actually use Charles Schwab and you know we’re looking for the best organizational accounts possible.

  • “assuming your pricing models are as good as the large firms. Both algo found a trade opportunity. Then his execution is just so much fast and the trade is done before your order even reaches the exchange. Or you think you are getting a deal but it is probably a bad trade hence you are getting it as the counter party”
