Laid off from Syneos (Safety role) – RN + CRC background. What roles/side pivots should I target?

Hey everyone, Unfortunately, I was just impacted by the recent wave of redundancies/layoffs at Syneos Health. I was in a very niche safety-related post. While I’m taking a moment to process it, I want to hit the ground running on my next steps. I’d love some advice from this community on where to pivot or look next. My Background & Skill Set: RN / Nursing: Background in direct patient care. Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) Experience: Strong hands-on site experience with protocol adherence, EDC systems, patient safety, and IRB/regulatory compliance. CRO / Clinical Safety Experience: Most recently at Syneos in a specialized safety/pharmacovigilance role. Questions for the community: Which job titles should I be searching for right now? Given my mix of nursing, site CRC work, and CRO safety experience, what specific roles at CROs, Sponsors, or Sites should I be filtering for? What side moves / adjacent career paths should I consider? I’m open to thinking outside the standard CRO/Sponsor box. Appreciate any insights, advice, or encouragement. Thank you in advance!

[comment u/Fluffy-Pika] This might feel like it's from the left field but you look into consulting roles at the Big Four also. There were some life science consultant roles at Deloitte that I saw about a month ago that specifically looked for RNs.
