DocuSignCustomer feedback

A SaaS startup for the real estate industry found DocuSign's embedded e-signature options too painful to set up and too expensive for their needs at a volume of 500 signatures per month.

Highlighted: the lines this signal was extracted from

We are building a SaaS for real estate agents and need to embed signing directly into our app. The UX has to feel native, no redirects to a third party portal, no powered by X branding on the signing page. We looked at Docusign's embedded options but the white label setup is painful and expensive at our stage (500 sigantures/ month). Any recommendations for European API's that do true white label w/o entreprise tier pricing ?

  • “For a real estate SaaS I'd pay attention to the signing UX and not just the API itself. If agents have to leave your app to sign, it quickly feels bolted on. I'd compare the embedded options from a few european providers and Youtrust is one I came across for this king of setup. Their API supports integrating the signing experience into your own app. At 500/month I'd also check the branding limits”

  • “I'm the creator of an e-signing API called Formable: formabledocs.com/developers We manually customize e-signing pages so it fits your branding. We have an "enterprise" plan but it's not priced like other enterprise plans, the naming is just for marketing purposes”

  • “We had looked at Yousign and Universign as european solutions and we opted for Yousign instead bc of its simplicity and clear API documentation”
