Our latest renewal quote caught everyone by surprise. The SaaS connectors have been fine, but database replication has become ridiculously expensive because of how much our larger tables change every day. At this point we're spending more moving the data than storing it. If you've been through this already, what did you end up changing?

[comment u/GreyHairedDWGuy] We use FT for mainly SaaS replication to Snowflake and for that, it is very good and reasonably cost / time effective but for DBMS replication where you have a very large number of inserts or updates to many different keys each month, it gets expensive fast. It costed more to replicate a single SQL Server database than all our other SaaS solutions combined.
