I’m going to preface this by stating this: I’m generally a very good writer and have benefitted from decades of experience in writing before AI chatbots came out. That is to say: I know how to write well and critique analytical writing for a living. With that being said, I have been paying to use ChatGPT. I use it primarily to help me do some quick basic research and writing (an outline usually; the bare bones). However, recently, when I use the free version of Gemini via the Google search engine, I actually find the output of writing to be VASTLY SUPERIOR to the output of writing I get when I use paid ChatGPT. It’s quite astonishing actually. MY QUESTIONS: What has your experience been when it comes to using paid AI chatbots for writing and research? Any preferences?
