(Investir au Cameroun) - The Cameroon Hotels Corporation (CHC), owner of the Hilton Yaoundé and 95.6% owned by the State, launched on September 9, 2026, the selection of one or more brokerage firms to assist it in its process of introduction to the Central African Securities Exchange (BVMAC). Applications are expected no later than September 18 at 3 p.m., according to the notice published by the Public Markets Regulatory Agency (ARMP). The selected firms will notably have to evaluate CHC's compliance with the listing conditions and support the structuring of the operation. Candidates must be approved by the Central African Financial Market Supervisory Commission (Cosumaf), have been established in Cemac for at least five years, and demonstrate experience in stock market introductions, fundraising, and acquisition audits. This consultation marks CHC's entry into an operational phase of preparation for listing, without prejudging the outcome of the process. The notice does not yet specify the share of capital that could be opened to investors, the desired valuation, or the timetable for a possible public offering. ADC has taken the lead.
