"Today marks a major moment for retail in the West of Ireland, and we are delighted that Galway has been chosen as the location for IKEA's newest Plan and Order Point," Galway mayor Cllr Helen Ogbu, who had attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony this morning, said. "As a city committed to innovation and sustainable growth, we are pleased to welcome IKEA's investment in Galway and the additional choice it will bring to local customers.
