Hello netsuite community! I've been a long time lurker here and have spent even longer developing custom solutions for ERP/finance systems. I work on finance technology at Reddit, and I’m excited to open source something we've built. It's called SuiteReact MCP (https://github.com/reddit/suitereact-mcp). It’s a toolkit for building custom, feature-packed React apps that run inside NetSuite as Suitelets. You can develop locally against your account’s data, then build and deploy the app into NetSuite. It also includes tools that let a coding agent inspect account metadata, run SuiteQL, and follow reusable build and verification workflows. The React framework works independently if you don’t use an AI agent. There's too much included to outline it all here, so check out the repo README for more info. The toolkit includes some sample apps to demonstrate capabilities and design patterns. At Reddit, we've used it for many apps including AR cash application, revenue accrual, bulk discounting, intercompany automation, and more. If you give it a try, I'd welcome any feedback and would love to hear about the types of apps you build!

  • “Huge shoutout for open-sourcing this! Developing modern React UIs directly for NetSuite without messy deployment workarounds has been a long-time challenge. The integrated MCP tooling for SuiteQL and metadata inspection is a game changer for agentic workflows. Starred the repo super excited to test this out!”

  • “It’s seems like a cool project, but I have some concerns using the mcp tools for suiteql. It runs the risk of leaking PII like names, emails and addresses into your LLM of choice. Seems like a pretty big risk to me if you’re a D2C business. Fwiw I feel the same way about using the netsuite ai connector so using this wouldn’t be any worse than what people are already doing.”

  • “Interesting.  What befit would customers gain over using your SuiteReact vs MCP server + Claude dashboards or Codex Visualization? Some customers cannot afford technical consultants or have the capability to implement this on their own. AI can help fill dashboard gaps. What sectors do you plan to target, just finance ?”
