[comment u/fro99er] Now they’ve actually restricted our ability to dispute complaints because we’ve apparently disputed too many
“If everyone stops using them, they will go out of business! They screw the restaurant, driver, and customers get the joy of now paying $30 for a burger”

“stop using door dash they take advantage of the customer, the drivers, the restaurants. DoorDash reported net income attributable to common stockholders of $935 million for the full year 2025. you do the work they screw you over to profit a billion dollars off your back Now they’ve actually restricted our ability to dispute complaints because we’ve apparently disputed too many why would”

“I just cancelled my account with them. We never had many issues, but the few times we did it was a nightmare to get them to admit fault. The last straw was a "customer cancelled order before I confirmed" Not really possible since we manually confirmed all orders, and that is when we print the tickets. I had a confirmed ticket. When door dash cancels an order, there is no alert on the table”

“We minimised our 3rd party app menus to like 5 items with fuck all modifications. Been smooth sailing ever since. Want the full menu? Order direct or come and get it. We just use Uber/DoorDash as a funnel now.”

“just turn it off. <old man> You know there was a time when delivery like this didnt generally exist except for pizza. and it was fine. you want the truffle burger? you go out and eat the truffle burger. or you make one at home. and frankly the couple times I did use a service like this - it ruined the food. it was cold. stuff soaked into other stuff. "Im paying *extra* for this?". Pass.</old man”
