Just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation and managed to get either Revolut US Business or Amex US Business approved. I'm a UK citizen, non-US resident with a Wyoming LLC, EIN and ITIN I've had a UK Amex with a decent limit and a few years of history but cancelled it a few months ago. Mainly looking to find out if anyone has managed to open either account without being a US resident, and what documents they needed. Also open to recommendations for any other US business banks that are fairly straightforward for non-residents. Any advice or experiences would be appreciated

  • “Having a Wyoming LLC, EIN, and ITIN puts you in a good position, but the biggest hurdle is usually residency verification, not company registration. Revolut US Business may be difficult without US residency, so I'd confirm their eligibility requirements before applying. Amex is even trickier because business credit approval can depend on US credit history, identity verification, and your residen”

  • “You can get Revolut tonight for sure. For Amex, you'll either need to travel or to the US or to deposit a significant amount for remote opening.”

  • “Having an EIN and ITIN definitely helps with paperwork, but unfortunately, neither guarantees approval. Banks still care about where you actually live and run the business. I'd check Revolut's US eligibility requirements before applying. Amex is a different headache because credit history and residency requirements can come into play. Your old UK Amex relationship might be worth asking about, al”

  • “Bro f that shi I also bought an LLC these Remote banks don't give a shit so I'm from Iraq but I didn't have Itin but only Ein letter and the LLC formation was enough so I got rejected few times I gave up cause it's not worth it anymore.”

  • “On Amex, "without being a US resident" is exactly the catch. Their Business Checking agreement does mention an ITIN, but only for a US citizen or resident alien, and it also wants a physical business street address in the US. So with the ITIN alone I wouldn't spend an application there.”
