Trying to understand some of our options with SAP HANA Date Lake for NLS (cold storage) with our BW4HANA system. Our BW4 system is with a RISE PTO, and SAP is now proposing to get Data Lake in their BDC. Eventually they want to "lift and shift" our BW4 into BDC but their pricing is outrageous. I'm curious why do we even need Data Lake in BDC if it's the only data product there. Can't we just get Data Lake in BTP and connect via Cloud Connector? Also, can a single instance of Data Lake support two BW4 environments (DEV and QAS)? Another option is to deploy SAP IQ within our RISE PTO, but I'm told end of maintenance is Dec 2030.
