I've had multiple instances in the past few months of making an appt with a receiver (Sysco/US foods etc) and they email they reply with is a certain person. John Doe for example and then when it comes time for an issue to get resolved, "John Doe hasnt worked here for 6 months" Then how in the hell did John email me back yesterday? Capstone and the receivers are constantly trying to put blockades in front of anyone who could hold them accountable for a mistake. I'm sure it must be annoying on their side to hear every story in the book fo=rom drivers/brokers but on the other hand, they make mistakes too that need to be fixed and they wont. They hold trucks for hours while they breakdown 1 pallet into 4. They charge crazy late fee's, reschedule fee's, etc. Honestly just fuck em, i hate these distributors. KEHE and UNFI are the worst. It's like they sat in a room and said, "You know what would be sick? working 3rd shift so no person that delivers to us will ever get a good night's rest." Even if everything goes right, I still wake up from the anxiety of the last time something went wrong. Then i get drunk and beat my wife and IT'S ALL THEIR FAULT
