Another day and again currently 30% behind forecast. I have 15 Aiko panels spread across three roofs, and at 2 pm with no cloud in the sky my solar output is 2.0 kW. After extensive research online and here, I am fairly certain the engineer installed the panels incorrectly. North and south facing panels are linked to the same string, while the garage panels sit on a second string; both connect to the same MPPT on the Tesla inverter. I have complained, and the electrician visited the site, claiming everything looks fine and that the shared string is irrelevant. In his words, it “just depends on a lot of factors, such as voltage” and so on. I suspect he simply does not want to return to the roof to run a second DC cable.I have put in an official complaint and I have to wait 7 working days for a response, but ideally I don’t want the same electrician on site. 1. He is the professional, and I am only a person that knows very little about the subject, and 2. I really don’t like confrontation. What else can I do at this point? Surely I am correct in saying that it’s not normal to be generating so little every day with a 7.25kW system? Thanks

But a bigger issue would be 2 strings on 1 MPPT that are not equal, in parallel I'm assuming. Vastly different voltages there.
