But the latest and largest commitment came Wednesday, when Google announced its largest investment in Europe yet: an investment of at least €13 billion ($15.1 billion) in AI infrastructure in Finland over the next two years. “This is Google’s largest single investment in Europe and a testament to Finland’s leadership in responsibly building AI infrastructure,” Google said in a statement.
