Gas Plumbing for Agilent 7890B; connecting to the EPCs

Highlighted: the lines this signal was extracted from

I was hoping that someone might have an idea as to the best way to make connections to the EPCs in the rear of the GC. We recently upgraded our 6890N and 5975 (RIP workhorse), and during this transition I want to clean up the plumbing and make it neat and labeled and not an absolute maze of coiled shit back there. We have two instruments; the new one, and the older 7890B 5977B. So, I noticed that making the connections on the EPC for the 7890 kind sucks compared to the 8890. The EPCs on the 8890 insert perpendicular to the back plate, whole the 7890 is parallel. This means because we have two FIDs for this instrument I need a T-fitting plumbed to both FID EPCs and they are stacked one, then the other then the back plate. It makes it hard to adjust the copper tubing with that small of a line. My concern is damaging the stainless steel connection on the EPCs. I don't want to pull too hard on it, but I kind of have to. My question, would it be easier to remove one of the EPCs do the connections, then reinstall the EPC. Or maybe rotate the instrument around so I'm not reaching between the Gerstel rail and attachments while my short 5'6" ass drops MF bombs constantly. I've never plumbed directly to them before because I've never had the need to.
