BayerCustomer feedback

A pest control professional reported a termite treatment failure using Bayer's Premise product, with multiple commenters describing it as an ineffective, 'cheap chemical' that leads to retreatments.

  • We treated it with Premise in 2023. Full trenches were dug and treated right where the wood was.

    From the post

  • [comment u/Tarphiker] Also I will agree with a comment from earlier, Premise sucks, never had more retreatments in my life as when I was working for a c

  • [comment u/SureArt4661] premise is known to leach atleast thats how i was trained ive never had crew use premise so I have no actual experience.

  • “When we are doing renewal inspections something like that wood we would tell the homeowner it needs removed, untreated wood is a conducive condition. Conducive conditions lead to problems.”

  • “What was covering the termites? It looks like a large piece of wood was there. Untreated earth-to-wood contact will entirely negate a liquid treatment. If a piece of wood was not treated, it likely enabled the termites to just waltz right past the liquid barrier. I can T&T all I want, but if there's a wood bridge that lets termites just walk past the barrier, then it won't matter.”
