GM dealer parts people, how's your experience using CX connect to get restricted parts? I think it sucks and is way to time consuming. There's way to many steps. From filing out forms, to filing out templates from different screens then downloading it back to the original screen. Why not have everything on one screen? On top of that, we have had a few warr ones in the shop that requires a tech to make a tac case and then requires parts to do the CX garbage. Did one last week for a PIT6503E, the known camara issue, been waiting about 4 days with no update. Parts are in 051, and low and behold I left out the E when typing in PIT6503E!!! After filling the form out and typing that probably 5 time on diff lines, they would not release the part!! Fixed now, so may get it typical Gm fashion, 2 days maybe 2 weeks. Who knows with these assholes. I'm venting, and really happy I only have a few more years left dealing with these people. Gm used to be a somewhat decent ran company with people who were good. Not today, what a trainwreck! Hope you all have a good day!!
