Highlighted: the lines this signal was extracted from

Good morning y'all, We recently got a claim kicked back by HMA claiming that the PA approved a reman/refurb battery for a vehicle but there is nothing I could find that shows a reman is available. The part number in question is 37501PI920. This supersedes from 37501PI900. Neither of those part numbers displays the Reman flag on WebDCS and neither of them pops up with anything when you suffix it with HRM like other eGMP/EV battery remans i.e. 37501PI920HRM. I already responded to my DPSM showing all of this, but I'm curious if any other Hyundai folks have run into issues getting EV battery job claims paid out because of HMA pulling some bullshit like this. Or maybe this is how I learn about some kind of super secret part number that isn't actually advertised anywhere. Thanks!

  • “37501PI920HRB is absolutely a real part number. They were supposed to put safe guards in to prevent this but it looks like that didn’t happen. Depending on the code the PA will say new or reman so be careful.”

  • “Kia manager here, gone through the same thing with kia. If you can prove that there where no reman available when you ordered they will pay the claim. In the future, I always open a case with kia to have proof of no reman available.”
