Best tool for making ad creative variants with AI?

I’m running creative testing for a few products on Meta and TikTok. I’ve been doing my work in Canva, and it feels like I’m doing more manual work than I should be given all of the AI tools that are out there. Canva’s bulk create limits what I can test. It’s great for swapping text and images, but you can’t easily change background or angles. I’ve tried building a workflow that automates this using some of the big image models, but the image quality is never good enough.

  • “The bottleneck in your setup is that every variant starts from the same photo, and Canva can only rearrange what you give it. Which tool fits depends on how much the label matters, so I've ranked these with your "product stays consistent" point weighted heavily. 1. Photoroom Best when the product has to stay exact. The background tools keep your real product cutout and generate the scene aroun”

  • “Canva bulk create was my bottleneck too, same wall. It swaps text and images but can't touch motion or structure, so every variant tests the same thing. The tool hunt stopped mattering once I fixed my variant discipline. I used to generate 10 AI variants that changed everything at once, new hook, new scenes, new CTA, then stare at the results and learn nothing because I couldn't say what actuall”

  • “Honestly, I'd look for a tool that can change the whole scene and camera angle while keeping the product consistent. That's the part most AI ad tools still struggle with.”

  • “Arcads is built specifically for this. You write different hooks, pick avatars, and it generates UGC-style video variants fast. We went from testing 3 creatives a month to 20+ and found winners way quicker. For ecommerce where you need constant fresh creative to fight fatigue, it's been a game changer.”
