Hello, I'm trying to find a reliable (stable, transparent, no arbitrary freezing and stonewalls) way to get paid via debit or credit card. I'm an EU citizen freelancer. A few information: - No Stripe, PayPal (they suck), or Venmo/Zelle (not geographically eligible) - I must be able to enter any custom amount and preferably select currency among the major ones (EUR default, also USD and GBP) - payment must go on a bank account or be withdrawn here - projected monthly revenue: anything between 800 to 2000 EUR at times could be higher. Not looking for anything fancy with logos or invoices or cart integration, just a simple way to send payment links where a a button to pay via credit or debit card is shown.

  • [comment u/MarzipanMoneyz] Have you tried Mollie payments? I'm getting ready to start a business in the Netherlands and other freelancers have recommended it to me.

  • [comment u/Zealousideal_Pin6596] For an EU freelancer with your setup, Mollie is honestly the go-to. Dutch, fully EU-regulated, and specifically the alternative most people move to when they're done with Stripe/PayPal drama.

  • “for this type of setup, I would mainly check the payout time, supported currencies and how they handle account review or payment holds. the payment link part is usually easy but getting your money without rando issues is the imp part”

  • “The freezes are structural rather than bad luck. Anything that onboards you in ten minutes is putting you under its own merchant account, which means their underwriter carries your risk and can cut you off with no notice and no explanation owed. Your own merchant ID with an acquirer gets you a real review and a contract, but at 800 to 2000 a month nobody will give you one. Bank transfer is the bor”
