Any SDRs in here think salesloft/outreach are an awful part of the outbound workflow? A little birdy told me that many bypass in favour of spreadsheets They are useful for email cadences, but other tools like instantly or smartlead are probably better more so on the cold calling side, never ever liked salesloft/outreach what think?

  • “They’re not trash, just overkill for a lot of reps. Salesloft/Outreach are great for management and CRM workflows, but can slow you down. Instantly/Smartlead are way better for cold email at scale. If calling is your main channel, I’d care about speed, easy call logging, and getting interested leads into the CRM. Everything else is noise.”

  • “The part I got tired of was having another tool the rep has to keep operating all day I use Monaco now and prefer having more of the sales work and account context handled together instead of bouncing between separate systems just to keep outbound moving.”
