Work is planning on finally upgrading the Switcher from an old Panasonic AV-HS400 HD Switcher to a BM ATEM 2 M/E Constellation HD with a Blackmagic Design ATEM Micro Live Stream Switcher Panel. If anyone has already built a similar rig, I'm looking for a good Shallow Rack and Mounting Hardware for the GPI/Tally Interface. We were also planning on mounting a couple of HDMI-to-SDI converters to live in the rack permanently. If anyone has suggestions on anything else I'm forgetting to add, I'm all ears.

  • “UPS and PDU in the rack. Patch panels for IO, otherwise you'll be forever struggling to get your hand in the rack. Teranex rack converters, but don't do them three wide. Network switch with patch for external devices (Atem advanced panel, but also at least a couple of laptops to allow the BM software and companion or other control software). Think about if you need to embed audio, and how”

  • “In a road case I put the ATEM, Webpresenter, Hyperdeck, Duo Smart View and drawer for extra adapters and Stream Deck in the front. In the back a Dual Voltage powersupply (5V/12V), Raspberry PI(running Companion and PlayoutBee), HDMI/SDI Converters, Ethernet Switch, Cloudplate and patch panels. It is a two person lift, I am very happy with it, next time I will leave the drawer out and use a pelic”
