Samsung Electronics unveiled new tablets featuring large displays, Galaxy artificial intelligence (AI) features, and batteries offering up to 23 hours of use. ​Samsung Electronics announced on Oct. 1 that it will launch the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S12+. The devices will go on sale starting Oct. 7 in South Korea, the US, the UK, Germany, India, and Japan, among other markets. ​The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra features a 14.6-inch display and measures 5.1 millimeters in thickness. Equipped with the latest processor, it delivers approximately 61% higher neural processing unit (NPU) performance, 19% higher central processing unit (CPU) performance, and 17% higher graphics processing unit (GPU) performance than the previous Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. A three-dimensional (3D) vapor chamber is incorporated to effectively dissipate heat generated during high-performance tasks. ​The Galaxy Tab S12+ features a 12.6-inch display, an increase from the 12.4-inch screen on the previous Galaxy Tab S10+. Both models feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays, a peak brightness of 1,600 nits, and four-channel speakers.
