TMobile Q3 results are out and below are the main highlights: Spectrum: T-Mobile sold its 800 MHz licenses to Grain Management for $2.9B in cash plus 600 MHz licenses worth $690M. T-Mobile also picked up 102 AWS-3 licenses in Auction 113 ($278M) and has 600 MHz deals with TStar ($290M) and Comcast. It passed on EchoStar's spectrum because of price. Satellite: AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile formed a JV on Sept 14 to tackle dead zones and pool spectrum for satellite providers. T-Mobile says there's no consumer or edge MVNO with SpaceX and describes satellite as an inferior substitute for FWA in most areas. Radio uplink is the main constraint, and the fix is 5G Advanced uplink features plus TDD spectrum (C-band 2.0 and 2.7 GHz auctions). AI-RAN: T-Mobile claims the world's first AI-RAN call on a live network (Bellevue). In NYC trials, AI radio planning beat expectations, and partners cite 20–100% spectral-efficiency gains. Broadband: FWA is ahead of the 15M target, but T-Mobile no longer reports FWA line counts. Fiber is reaching ~20% penetration within a year of launch, with a target of 3–4M customers by 2030. Customers: net account adds fell...
