Highlighted: the lines this signal was extracted from

I have heard of a few projects recently, where Tesla has canceled on order, because the installer did not provide a complete corrected checklist and drawing package before the deadline to go to contract. I have several projects where the technical review phase has been ridiculously pedantic, and it almost seems like they are intentionally trying to find a reason to cancel my orders. In the past order acceptance was given when we produced a high level drawing package with critical elements. The recent technical reviews have called out details that I wouldn’t even normally say on an IFC set much less a 30% drawing. Has anyone had an order canceled by Tesla because of the technical review? I am starting to suspect that they sold more of the two XL than they are able to produce, and are trying to find a way to shed some obligations to deliver.

  • “Doubt that we habe a sellers' market. Perhaps the size of the projects is not of much interest for them since they need to do the same work in principle to get much less money.”
