Thinking of switching from Verizon for 2 lines. Would be doing the payout offer that they have for up to $800 for each line. And switching for the extra 2.0 plan so it would be $50 each line I know Verizon throws in extras which jack up the monthly bill. Is there any hidden stuff that first net charges that we should know before switching? Or are we looking at the plan price, normal fees and that’s it? I’m tired of paying $200 a month for Verizon for 2 phones and a line I know we need to cut that is $30 per bill

  • “Other than taxes and fees (~$5-7/line) everything else is optional. Try to work with store to qualify as an event sale, it’s an extra $200 or $300 per line in credits and you get activate fee waivers. Cannot stack with signature discounts, it’s one or the other. Not sure what other comment is referencing”

  • “Make sure you check out https://www.att.com/verification/signaturehub/#employment also. This can stack with firstnet and your activation fees can be waived. Your first ATT bill in normally higher. The credits normally hit the 2nd billing cycle. Also each line has to qualify individually for firstnet. I technically have 3 firstnet lines on my account.”

  • “If your reason for switching to firstnet is purely financial then you likely aren’t the target user.”
