I’m currently using Paycor and they have missed deadlines to file quarterly forms, mistakes paying taxes and now as the year end I’m looking for a new provider. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Small company (4) employees.

  • [comment u/Double_Register_1022] For 4 US employees I would skip global tools like Restaff unless you also pay people in other countries. I'd look at Gusto or Rippling and ask very direct stuff about who files quarterlies and who owns tax errors if they miss one.

  • “Missing filing deadlines and making tax mistakes would be enough to make me switch too. For a 4-person US team, I'd look at Gusto if you want something focused on straightforward US payroll. Deel is another option worth considering, especially if you might add contractors or international employees later. I'd compare the tax filing coverage, support, and total cost rather than just the monthly”

  • “Look into Remote or maybe even BambooHR. I think for a small company they work well and are fairly cheap.”

  • “Have used onpay for 10+ years and have lots of happy clients on them”

  • “Been with Rollfi for a few months now and it has been pretty low maintenance for us day to day. We stay close to the customer experience but the payroll side doesnt keep spilling back onto the team every time something needs attention so that was a W on our end”
